By Mike Jones
Seven beauty tips and strategies that can make your face and body care easier:
• To clean facial skin without doing damage, do not scrub. If possible, use a mild, oil and fragrance free cleanser, rather one that is pH balanced. For oily skin use a cleanser, that contains benzoil peroxide or salicylic acid. Unless your skin is oily, stay away from toner as this can dry out the skin.
• Invest in a magnifying mirror to closely examine your facial skin. It will then be simple to discover enlarged pores on the middle parts of the cheeks as well as blackheads in the region of the nose.
• Emergency cure for puffy eyes: If you require eliminating puffy eyes in a hurry, freeze two teaspoons in the fridge, then place the hollow sides over closed eyes for a few minutes.
As an alternative, take two chamomile tea bags that have cooled after being steeped in boiling water, and put them over the eyes for a few minutes.
• Neck region: whilst much time and concentration is spent on the face, the neck region require as much care and attention. Comprise the neck area in your skincare schedule.
• To get the day off to a healthy begin, put together a drink from boiling water and the juice of one lemon. Add some thinly chopped ginger for extra interest. Apart from being an excellent resource of Vitamin C, this will clean the liver and get your metabolism going.
• Domestic Salt Rub: Feel rehabilitated by making your own salt rub with a mixture of coarse salt and mild liquid soap. Using a loofah mitt, apply the mixture all over the body in the bathe and rinse the suds carefully. Pat the body dry and then apply a body cream or oil to leave your body elastic and soft.
• Make foot care a part of your shower schedule. Keep a pumice stone in the bathe and smooth away any calluses, which may begin forming, dry skin on the heels or balls of the feet, or rough skin on the edge of the toes. Mild, regular care will keep unpleasant foot troubles at bay.
